Worked on the Magistrate Court Complex project in Colombo 12, moving between technical drawings and live installation across a 15-storey building.

ElderGuard Sensor Platform

Built an ESP32 monitoring system using FreeRTOS, sensor fusion, and MQTT telemetry. The same edge-to-cloud pattern supports condition monitoring and data-driven supervision in modern energy systems.

Designed and deployed a SystemVerilog finite-state machine on FPGA hardware, including mapped I/O and a three-attempt lockout with physical alarm triggers—hands-on experience with deterministic control logic.

EDGE MONITORING & CONTROL

Embedded IoT that connects physical systems to live data.

Project experience includes ESP32 firmware, MPU-6050 and MAX30102 sensor integration, FreeRTOS dual-task processing, MQTT telemetry, Firebase, AVR and PIC assembly, plus FPGA control logic with SystemVerilog and Xilinx Vivado.

DATA-DRIVEN RENEWABLES

AI and machine learning skills for energy analysis.

Built an LSTM model for multivariate time-series classification using five sensors, 15 features per sample, and 40 Hz data. Additional work with scikit-learn, RetinaFace, ArcFace, Python multithreading, and responsible AI provides a foundation for renewable forecasting, condition monitoring, and grid-data analysis.

Hands-on projects cover AWS VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, ECR, ECS, CloudWatch, Route 53, CloudFormation, load balancing, Auto Scaling, RDS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. Built dual-VPC peering and Flow Log monitoring to understand secure connectivity and operational visibility.
